Global Rhythm Magazine&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hello and greetings, Jacques from Atlas Soul here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are very exited for having two of the songs from &amp;ldquo;MABROUKA&amp;rdquo; featured in two different compilations from Global Rhythm magazine.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mabrouka means: Blessings and/or Lucky Charm and/or Incantations!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here is some background about the music and the songs:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;L&amp;rsquo;amour en banlieue (love in the suburbs)&lt;br /&gt;This is French hip-pop with a twist!&lt;br /&gt;This is an urban and suburban (banlieue) love story. Check out the French rap (if you speak French) lyrics written by the talented Johann Sarton aka 95Star.&lt;br /&gt;Performed by Jacques Pardo and Nadwa Al Rifai. Nadwa wrote the Arabic lyrics as well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sole (Sun)&lt;br /&gt;This song is a 6/8 groove in a Shaabi-Jazz style but in Italian!!!&lt;br /&gt;Lyrics and performed by Angela Rossi.&lt;br /&gt;This song is about the emigrants and emigration&amp;hellip;but in a poetic way&amp;hellip;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Passa La Vida&lt;br /&gt;This one is a funky nicely spiced Salsa&amp;hellip;&lt;br /&gt;Lyrics and performed by Alan Perez&lt;br /&gt;This song is about love and the flow of life&amp;hellip;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quiereme y Veras&lt;br /&gt;This is a love song that feature acoustic guitar, oud, bari sax, trombone on a touching Latin ballad melody&amp;hellip;&lt;br /&gt;Lyrics and performed by Alan Perez&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Angelomio&lt;br /&gt;This is a combination of a Ballad and a Drum &amp;amp; Bass groove.&lt;br /&gt;Lyrics and performed by Angela Rossi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Music and production by Jacques Pardo and Atlas Soul&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Write a review!
